This year’s specials would be Chef Alex of Conrad Singapore collaboration with renowned and award-winning Singaporean Chef Shermay Lee to present three new signature Peranakan-dishes featuring – The Black Gold – a Buah Keluak Beef Burger, Stewed Ginger Garlic Pork Belly with Steamed Buns (Kong Bak Bao / Tau You Bak), as well as a Nonya Chicken Curry Pie Tie.

To mark Singapore’s 53rd birthday, the buffet line will be infused with contemporary concepts of classic Peranakan ingredients and techniques presenting a wide selection of traditional Peranakan dishes together with other scrumptious dishes such as roast chicken, braised lamb, stingrays, etc

Don’t miss out on their ice cream station that offers ondeh ondeh and durian flavors! End with a sweet note with the kuehs or the restaurant’s signature crispy red bean pancake!

Presenting Chef Shermay’s range of homemade sauce, marinade, crackers and curry powder. Shermay Lee is a food consultant and cookbook author specializing in Singapore heritage and Peranakan cuisine. All of her curated recipes is based on Shermay’s family recipes and Singapore’s rich culinary heritage.

It includes convenient ready-to-eat condiments, such as chili sauce (Cilicuka & Sambal Hijau), Ginger Garlic Sauce, and ready-to-cook marinade (Singapore Meat Marinade). The range of crackers features prawn crackers (keropok) and bitternut crackers (emping) which are perfect for dipping into the chilli sauces.
