To be honest, ever since I was pregnant with Christian we didn’t have the chance to come back to Pororo Park Singapore and since the opening guide we did during their launch  and since then it had been refreshed with plenty of new interactive activities ( what? almost 2 years already?).

Considering our 2nd son is able to walk independently and loves to follow his brother in exploring new grounds, we think it is time for him to try out some PORORO fun at Marine Square! On Christmas day we celebrated the festive  by bringing Christian, who happens to be at the exact same age as his brother when we first visited Pororo Park Singapore, as well as to check out why the hype for this indoor playground never dies down!

WHO is Pororo?

This adorable little penguin was created to share his adventures on an animated television series, with his friends who live in the snowy hamlet of Porong Porong Forest. He often encounter challenges and learn practical and moral lessons in each episode.

This charming and interactive play arena is suitable from 1 to 6 years old.

Hinoki Pit (NEW)

Suitable for 12 months and above
Children under 3 should be supervised by parents/guardians
Get Digging into the aromatic Hinoki pit!

Designed to be safe for kids of all ages and stimulates multiple senses at once during play, compare to the usual ball/sand pit, no need to worry that your kids would get dirty after playing  and digging into Pororo’s signature sensory and aromatic play attraction – the Hinoki Pit. My little one who seems so attracted by this hinoki play, would camp himself in this pool of wooden blocks and shove hinoki into his beach container countless of time without feeling the pain on his feet or butt. (surprisingly the hinoki has no effects on the kids compare to adults stomping on it).

Petty Supermarket

Suitable for 18 months and above
Children under 3 should be supervised by parents/guardians

Kids all love playing pretend and what’s better than having it at a Supermarket with a whole host of fruits and veggies! There are push trolleys to wheel the fruits or vegetables to the cashier to be “carted out”. It will be a back an forth feeding game for the parents. Be always ready to watch over your little ones with often occasions ours had some snatching toys moments with the older kids as they just want the same items to cook! Groceries shopping war man!

Shark Ball Pool

Suitable for 18 months and above
Children under 3 should be supervised by parents/guardians

This ball pit is inevitably our favorite part of the Pororo Park other than the Express Train, with a pool of blue and while balls awaiting for us to hop in and play feeding Mr. Shark. We are never out of fun playing in this blue sea, while considering this is one of the biggest ball pits we have ever seen which isn’t hidden under any structure.

Pororo Express Train

This is a child only ride
Suitable for children above 18 months and below height of 1.3m

Hop on the train ride with Pororo and Eddy for this all-time favorite ride! We have seen a few younger kids getting on the ride and cry but nevertheless we have been impressed with the friendly staff who could easily make them smile again!  What a skill and What a magical ride! Instructions will be given for the exact kids to queue up before they board the train just to be fair to the rest.

Do plan your timing well as the first train ride starts at 1045am daily till 7.15pm on weekdays and Sunday, while Saturday extends till 8 pm.

The train operates 15 minutes per session. View Pororo Express Schedule

Pororo’s House

Suitable for 12 months and above
Children under 3 should be supervised by parents/guardians

Explore a full-sized replica of Pororo’s House with a new addition (the interior changed since we did our last article) – the new music wall of drums and music instructmenrs which the kids enjoyed banging on the drums and making music with new friends!

Poby’s Jungle Gym

Suitable for 18 months and above
Children under 3 should be supervised by parents/guardians

Not the biggest tunnels or maze but at least we parents are able to take a clear glance at where our kids are going without us following in.

Tong Tong’s Little Theatre

Suitable for all ages

Daily, this theatre is the highlight of the park! You will need to follow the schedule to check when you’ll find Pororo & Friends for their shows! Both Noah and Christian loved taking the front rows and dance to the familiar tunes we hear online on their shows! During Christmas, we had bubbles and photo opportunities with the mascots, a new promotion which you will be able to experience the new bubble show.

Celebrating Xmas at @pororoparksg was the best decision made yesterday! From the kinoki pit, to train ride with Pororo, bouncy castle, indoor slides & tunnels, Pororo workshops & live musical, and our meet & greet sessions, it’s so hard to make the boys leave even after 3 hours there! Is @pororoparksg your favorite hangout too? . . . . . . #pororoparksg #sgindoorplayground #play #letthembelittle #letthembekids #kidsootd #kidsworld #marinasquaresg #beyondthewanderlust #follow_this_light #dearestviewfinder #kidsforreal #thesincerestoryteller #childhoodeveryday #infinity_children #jj_its_kids #letthemexplore #sgmum #sgmummies #sgmoms #sgparent #visitsingapore #sgcutebaby #sgmumblogger

Apart from the 7 wonders in Pororo, the kids can expect below activities to keep them busy during the entire visit at Pororo Park!

We have been friends with Milky Kreme since one to two years ago, and we have been enjoying his freshly made ice creams top up with specially curated toppings in most of our parties and birthdays! In the workshop, the children get to make the flavors (oreo, strawberry) of the ice cream by themselves, before getting some tips and tricks by Boss Khai on how to “Fry” the ice creams with his ice machine!

Ice cream workshops timings are available at 230pm, 330pm, and 4 pm (please check for changes upon arrival) which would start after the 2 pm performance, to register kindly look for the staff station outside the event rooms before the workshops. Reminders will be given at least 5 to 10 mins before.

Each session takes about 15mins to 20 mins.

Say hi to Boss Khai if you see him around!
See that happy face waiting for his turn

Want your birthday to be celebrated with a fuss-free ( we heard a lot of good reviews, parents and child literality just appear only as all are settled!) themed Pororo party. Do you know that your birthday boy/girl will receive a 3 months unlimited play pass at both Pororo Park Singapore and Tayo Station located at Downtown East! I’m sure this will be the best birthday present you can ever give them!

  • Power Deal: $1088 includes Beautifully curated Pororo-themed Dessert table, Goodie bags, Party host, and Priority seatings in Tong Tong’s Theatre (as well as what’s included in Petite Package!)

Good news for the early raises – each day for the first 30 customers, receive free parking up to 3 hours with every paying child!

One of the reasons, why we love coming back is that the cafe food actually tastes really good! This is the area where you will see us munching shoestring fries, chicken nuggets and chomping down a hot/ice chocolate while still be able to keep an eye on the kids! And don’t tell anyone else but they got one of the best Indoor playground cafes in town – must try out their beef bolognese spaghetti (You won’t regret it!)!

They serve main courses, kids menu, and even baby menu options so even if you didn’t pack any food for the tots, there’s always the Loopy’s Cafe together with their desserts and drinks!

Insider tips:  if you spent more than $15, you will get an extra 1-hour play on weekends! (check with their staff to make sure this promotion is still ongoing!)

One more favorite part that has this mama going gaga is their unusually adorable kids-sized restroom within their premises, which has the perfect height for our little ones. Even Christian enjoyed his time washing hands before and after play! No need to run out to the mall’s toilet if you have any urgent “Mummy I want to pee pee” moments!

Nursing is located at another room beside the restroom

(You know where to find the daddies!)

(Your kids will never leave here! Warning!)
